Cordae and Anderson .Paak link up for the bop "Two Tens."
Ari Lennox unleashes a video for her latest single "Waste My Time."
midwxst and Denzel Curry also have shared a video for their catchy song "Tally." And over the weekend Ice Spice released a clip for "In Ha Mood."
Cordae, Anderson .Paak – “Two Tens”
Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s “Two Tens” is a fun and energetic clip. The two trade rhymes whilst taking viewers along with them as they experience an evening out picking up women. What makes this video work are the transitions between scenes and how compelling the song actually is. We're loving everything about this one.
Ice Spice – “In Ha Mood”
“In Ha Mood” by Ice Spice is an early contender for one of the hottest songs to arrive so far this year from a female rapper. To assist with driving this point home, the Bronx rapper enlists directors Oliver Cannon and Chris Villa. Though most of the video is shot “run and gun” style, there’s a special moment towards the end that hyper-focuses on Ice Spice.
midwxst, Denzel Curry – “Tally”
It’s clear that Harlem Nights and old Western flicks inspired midwxst and Denzel Curry’s new video “Tally.” They play off of one another’s energy in the pop-esque single, and it works. Denzel steals the spotlight though.
Ari Lennox – “Waste My Time”
Dreamville's First Lady, Ari Lennox returns and shares the video for "Waste My Time" off of her sophomore album age/sex/location. It's a sexy clip directed by Val Vega, throughout it she unleashes her thoughts on dealing with the same type of men over and over again. The addition of her reminiscing as she's in therapy is a relatable touch.
