Watch Ari Lennox Perform 'Shea Butter Baby' Jams on NPR's 'Tiny Desk'

The Shea Butter songstress stopped by NPR's studio to perform four tracks from her recent LP.

The latest edition of NPR's Tiny Desk series features one of R&B's breakout stars. Between her dates as an opener for Lizzo's Cuz I Love You Too tour, Ari Lennox came home to the network's DC offices to deliver a radiant four-song medley.

The setlist features "Speak To Me," "Pop," "New Apartment," and "Shea Butter Baby." Lennox was joined by a six-piece band featuring Chris Worthy on the keys, Chris Trusclair on drums, Taylor Gamble on lead guitar, Jerome Lawrence on bass guitar, Stanley Banks, Jr., and Dave James on backing vocals.

Lennox, along with DJ Sophia Eris, can be seen on the North American leg of the Cuz I Love You Too tour, scheduled through late October. Check out her Tiny Desk performance below.
