Ari Lennox returns with a new visual for her latest single “BUSSIT.” The track dropped as a bonus song from Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director’s Cut album.

In the colorful video, Lennox emerges as the supreme queen of a crew of black women. Outfitted in fur, two-piece sets and equipped with her stunning voice she’s the center of attention. The clip was directed by Tajana B. Williams and styled by celebrity image architect Ade Samuel.

Throughout the vibrant visual, Ari’s lyrics are brought to life as she dances alongside the assortment of women she’s featured alongside. The new “BUSSIT” video also offers a glimpse into her life, with her sweet personality (we’ve met her) we’re sure this is what it’s like to be a part of her life.

At the tail end of last month, the soulful singer dropped Shea Butter Baby (Remix EP), a project featuring cuts from her critically acclaimed album of the same name. The release included new versions of the tracks “BMO” with Doja Cat, “I Been” featuring Smino and “Facetime” with Durand Bernarr.

2019 was a momentous year for Lennox, she opened for Lizzo during the pop singer’s Cuz I Love You Tour. She also headlined a sold-out tour of her own aptly titled Shea Butter Baby. As a fellow fan of Ari, I can’t help but notice how the Recording Academy snubbed her by not nominating her debut album. Lennox, however, did receive three 2019 Soul Train Award nominations, you may remember when she spoke out about not winning at the live show via social media.
