Update: Go on a Carpet Ride in the Latest 'Aladdin' Movie Trailer

A new trailer for Disney's Aladdin was released on Wednesday, April 24th.

Aladdin is looking...better.

The official trailer for the live-action remake of Aladdin has been released.

The video features just over two minutes of footage from the adapted Disney classic. For the first time since the special look trailer was premiered during the 2019 Grammys, audiences are able to witness Mena Massoud in action as Aladdin.

We see the protagonist flee from authorities in the fictional city of Agrabah, lock eyes with Princess Jasmine (portrayed by Naomi Scott), and make a dubious deal with Jafar (Marwan Kenzari.) It's in this trailer that we also get another glimpse of Will Smith as the Genie, complete with blue skin and a ponytail-styled goatee.

Director Guy Ritchie wrote the film alongside John August based on the 1992 classic. Aladdin will be released in theaters on May 24, 2019.
