Tyler, The Creator Hosts $5 Dance Party in Atlanta
The Grammy winner made good on a promise he made to a fan one year ago.

Tyler, The Creator made good on a promise. Last year, the Grammy winner unveiled his DON’T TAP THE GLASS album, with a pair of events in Los Angeles and New York. Well, on Monday, August 10, he honored a promise he’d made exactly one year earlier, when a fan asked him to bring the events to Atlanta.
“You have my word,” he replied at the time.
Tyler hosted a dance party at the 1,500-capacity Enspire Mercantile venue in Atlanta. “Don’t come if you aren’t going to dance,” the announcement for the event read, advertising it as only $5 to enter.
Tickets were sold out by the Monday before the event.
When he released DON’T TAP THE GLASS, Tyler made it clear that he made an album intended to make listeners want to move.
“I asked some friends why they don’t dance in public, and some said because of the fear of being filmed,” he wrote on Instagram in 2025. “I thought damn, a natural form of expression and a certain connection they have with music is now a ghost. It made me wonder how much of our human spirit got killed because of the fear of being a meme, all for having a good time.”
