Turk is responding after Birdman dissed him during the Cash Money/No Limit Verzuz battle. The show took place on Saturday, Oct. 25, at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, and the night was a mostly positive showcase between the iconic NOLA rap labels. Things took a turn, however, when Birdman decided to take a shot at his former artist.

“I met B.G., I met [Lil] Wayne, I met Juvie, I met Turk,” Birdman said in acknowledgement of the label’s early days. But the nostalgia quickly turned toxic. “Shout out to Turk — you a lil b**ch.”

Birdman began disparaging Turk, who has been estranged from his former labelmates.

“You ain’t here — but f*ck you,” he continued. “We gonna f*ck with you and we wanna f*ck with you, you heard me?”

Mia X looked visibly shocked as Birdman continued his rant.

“We gonna f*ck with that b*tch and we wanna f*ck with him. You leave, we gonna still multiply and Cash Money ain’t gonna never die. Long as I’m alive, Cash Money ain’t gonna never die."

In response, Turk posted a video on IG Live

“I’mma keep it all the way real though — No Limit tore them up without Wayne,” he said initially. “Cash Money lost ‘cause they needed Turk.”

Turk also explained that he didn’t take part in Verzuz because he’s involved in a lawsuit that involves Cash Money Records.

“My lawsuit ain’t against Baby, not against Juvie or B.G.,” he explained — adding, “But when that man said what he said tonight, I guess that’s how they all feel. That’s cool — just give me my percentage. All of it.”
