Currently crossing the world on a victory lap in support of his new album DRUNK, Thundercat, has a lot to celebrate. Aside from his own critically-adored and reader-chosen effort, the BRAINFEEDER bass man has left a mark on recent projects from Shabazz Palaces, Mac Miller and Kendrick Lamar. It's a wonder the man ever has the opportunity for some R&R.
Today, in a new video for "Tokyo" -- technically the second, following "Them Changes," but we get the math -- Cat finally has his moment in the mecca of cat fancies, tech obsessions and gamer fodder, strolling through the neon-lit streets of the track's geographic center, complete with cameo from his cat, Tron, the subject of not one, but two odes off respective projects.
You can watch Thundercat get a taste of his adopted hometown in the video for "Tokyo" below. Hit the link to grab a copy on iTunes of pick up the vinyl edition via Ninja Tune.
