A big day for debuts, Migos head honcho, Quavo, fissured off with a studded solo debut, featuring all stars in the ATLien sky (and even a few satellite talents,) Ella Mai, the 23-year-old singer who captured the collective summers of two years (and running?) with "Boo'ed Up," finally releasing her long-awaited self-titled full-length, Stones Throw's Jerry Paper floating in with the tripped-out and delicate suites of Like a Baby, and Francofunkateers, Parcels, who follow up a pair of rare Daft Punk collaborations with their own titular full-length.
Other albums out today and worth your ear include Usher and Zaytoven's surprise hometown salute, A,Shy Glizzy's aptly-titled post-"Crew" project, Fully Loaded, Matthew Dear's oscillating and hypnotic, Bunny, and Connan Mockasin's sedated psych set, Jassbusters.
