As the year gets closer to the finish line, we’re seeing a December with an abundance of variety amongst new releases. Whether you love classic hip-hop and neosoul or trap music and alternative R&B, there’s a lot to choose from.
Lil Baby fans are rejoicing, as his latest project, The Leaks, is finally here; and Erick Sermon plays ringmaster to a who’s-who of rap legends on his new album, Dynamic Duos Vol. 1.
The ladies are definitely bringing the heat during the winter, as we’re getting a new track from Ice Spice and two new singles this week coming from GloRilla. For their part, Logic and Wiz Khalifa team up for the new track “700 Club.” And the collaborative energy continues with Polo G and G Herbo.
And as usual, veterans are well-represented in a week that sees some high-profile releases from artists like Kevin Gates, as well as the new Big K.R.I.T. And fans are buzzing over the new Gangsta Grillz from The Game and DJ Drama.
Each week, Okayplayer will deliver a roundup of all the latest new heat from some of our favorite artists. Check out the latest offerings in our playlist below:
NEW SONGS
ICE SPICE FEAT. TOKISCHA - “THOOTIE”

GLORILLA - “MARCH”
The rhymer out of Memphis gave her fans two new singles this week. This song is a heater that pays homage to her Southern roots and honors HBCU marching band culture.
GLORILLA - “SPECIAL”
Glo showcases her softer side on her other new single this week. She makes it clear that she knows her worth and isn’t waiting for anyone else to see it.
POLO G AND G HERBO - “GANGSTA GRADUATION”

LOGIC AND WIZ KHALIFA - “700 CLUB”
Logic is prepping his genre-bending next album, Sidequest, and this new track with Wiz is a peek at what he has coming. Their chemistry has always been undeniable.
KEVIN GATES - “FIRE RELOADED”
The kind of music you might need to power you through. The high-energy track showcases the kind of aggressive-but-thoughtful commentary Gates does better than almost anyone.
A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE - “LAST DRINK”
His versatility has always been somewhat underrated. After dropping “Part Of Me” back in October, the Bronx native delivers another strong single as he preps fans for new music in 2026.
HOODRICH PABLO JUAN FEAT. RX HECTOR - "FOR TRAPPERS ONLY"
The follow-up to his "First Day Out" release, the trap star hasn’t missed a step on this RX Hector-assisted single.
DAWN RICHARD - “A FLEX”

NIONTAY - “100DAYS100NIGHTS”
His new single is out, but Niontay has announced that his new tape Soulja Hate Repellant will be out on Dec. 16 with features from Earl Sweatshirt, Lerado Khalil and Sunny.

An artist in full command of her sound. The Brooklyn-born rapper drops her new track—which serves as the latest glimpse of her upcoming album The Happening. That project is due out December 12.
NEW ALBUMS
LIL BABY - ‘THE LEAKS’
After numerous delays, the highly anticipated album is finally here. A collection of his most popular previously-unreleased tracks, he drops it on his birthday and even gives a shoutout to those who leaked his music over the years.
ERICK SERMON - ‘DYNAMIC DUOS, VOL. 1’
From Salt-N-Pepa to Tha Dogg Pound, the hip-hop legend corrals an enviable lineup of fellow icons for this tour de force. An inspired collection from a producer who always delivers.
REDVEIL - ‘SANKOFA’
He’s got a sound unlike any other. The Maryland-bred talent showcases the effects of relocating to Los Angeles for his latest project. This is an album unbound by genre — and bursting at the seams with ideas.
DJ DRAMA AND THE GAME - ‘EVERY MOVIE NEEDS A TRAILER’
The West Coast rap mainstay makes his debut entry into Drama’s iconic Gangsta Grillz series. The 18-track mixtape was put together in just 48 hours with duo Mike N Keys.
BIG K.R.I.T. — ‘DEDICATED TO CADALEE BIARRITZ, VOL. 1’

Arriving seven months after the original project, this deluxe edition adds four new tracks and is a broader version of the creative world she brought to life earlier this year.

MORTEL - ‘TAYO’
The German-Congolese rapper and actor drops his ambitious new project. It features inspired collaborations with his peers like Haze, Genetikk, and Bobbyezz and showcases his broadening artistry.
1504 MUTEBABY - ‘ALL SAID AND DONE’
The ATL rapper drops of his mixtape, building on the tone he set with “Pop Out” and “4DG,” and leaning into that whispery delivery and low controlled flow. All in the name of sharpened street-rooted storytelling.
OCTOBER LONDON - ‘FOR YOU, MY LOVE’
The Death Row Records breakout star is closing out 2025 with a holiday-themed EP of original songs. And let’s just say it’s the perfect soundtrack for grown folks who are looking to “deck the halls.”
