Joel Embiid should have yelled “bitch!”
Philadelphia Sixers star Joel Embiid knew this. And decided to take advantage. On Friday, the Sixers played the Orlando Magic, at the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia. Embiid was going directly against Mo Bamba, who was only playing in his third NBA game.
At one point in the game, Embiid pulled off a nice move on Mo Bamba; he drove by him and dunked. Right after he pulled off the dunk, the arena started playing Sheck Wes’ hit song.

Apparently, this was something that Embiid set up with the announcers himself. He confirmed it after the game:
Summary of Joel Embiid’s press conference:
– Called J.J. Redick “old as shit”
– Referred to Rudy Gobert as “whoever it was” who won DPOY last year
– Said he put the Sixers up to playing “Mo Bamba” whenever he scored on Orlando’s rookie.
