Joel Embiid Had the Sixers Play "Mo Bamba" When He Scored on Mo Bamba

Joel Embiid should have yelled “bitch!”
Sheck Wes‘ breakout hit “Mo Bamba” is one of the best songs of the year. The track is named after NBA rookie Mo Bamba (real name Mohamed Bamba) who Sheck is friends with.
Philadelphia Sixers star Joel Embiid knew this. And decided to take advantage. On Friday, the Sixers played the Orlando Magic, at the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia. Embiid was going directly against Mo Bamba, who was only playing in his third NBA game.

At one point in the game, Embiid pulled off a nice move on Mo Bamba; he drove by him and dunked. Right after he pulled off the dunk, the arena started playing Sheck Wes’ hit song.

Apparently, this was something that Embiid set up with the announcers himself. He confirmed it after the game:
