The Vermont Senator and Democratic Presidential Candidate prefers the Lakers star.

"Is that because of the policy he just supported with you?" Kulinski asked in response, referring to California's SB-206 legislature that would allow college athletes to make endorsement deals and earn money for their efforts on the field.

"Everyone is California- call your politicians and tell them to support SB 206! This law is a GAME CHANGER. College athletes can responsibly get paid for what they do and the billions they create," James tweeted on September 5. The following day, Sanders shared James' tweet while adding: "College athletes are workers. Pay them."

"Well actually, yes, I think LeBron has been willing to do what a lot of athletes are not and get involved in the political process, put money into education, and I respect that," Sanders said in response to Kulinski.

In related news, Sanders and Killer Mike discussed the 2020 presidential election, health care, drug prices, wealth, and student debt, as well as why Sanders receives support from the hip-hop community.
