On May 6th, Solange will perform a new version of her show at NYC's Guggenheim Museum as part of Red Bull Music Academy's month-long installation. However, according to a new interview with Complex, it won't be her only museum show of the year. The younger Knowles is slated to take a performance piece to institutions around the country. With an already extensive list of festival dates (makes you wonder just what an "official tour" is) Knowles is filling out her schedule and giving fans ample opportunity and venues in which they can see A Seat The Table brought to life, both in traditional and museum-tailored versions.
Her third studio album arrived last summer to praise from critics and pedestrians alike, with "Cranes In The Sky" taking home the Grammy for "Best R&B Performance." She'll hit the stage at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia for the 10th Annual Roots Picnic on June 3rd, sharing the bill with Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Thundercat and more.
