Rick Ross Responds to Drake: “I’m sure he’ll retire next month”

After the Toronto rapper’s “Make Them Pay,” Rozay mocked Drake on social media.

Rick Ross was one of several people targeted on Drake’s “Make Them Pay” from his new Iceman album, and Rozay has shared his thoughts on the project — as well as Drizzy’s two other new albums. On Friday, May 15, Drake released Iceman, Maid Of Honour and Habibti simultaneously, and the albums arrived after long-simmering bad blood between the two.

According to PageSix, while recently promoting his new book and his upcoming studio album, Set in Stone, when asked where he stands with Drake, Ross simply said, “It’s nothing.” But after Drake dropped his three albums, and “Make Them Pay” went viral, Rozay mocked the OVO rapper on his Instagram stories — calling Drake “washed,” while also taking shots at podcasters Rory and Mal.

“Come on guys, stop,” he said. “Let’s all leave little man’s alone now, man. He did it, he dropped three mid projects. Hey man, it was fun while it lasted. You’re washed… Rory and Mal, get off your knees. Get the testicles out of your mouth, now. I don’t know which one the white one or the Black one, you’re both the same… How y’all feel now? Drake just committed suicide, I’m sure he’ll retire next month. How is his lawsuit doing? How is the Drake-Universal lawsuit coming?”

Ross shared another video where he dissed Rory and Mal again, before also mentioning Mal’s older brother, Roc-A-Fella Records cofounder Kareem “Biggs” Burke. Ross later retracted his comments about Biggs.

“Biggs Burke, you got somebody that loves you," Ross said in a video. "You got somebody that really loves you. I'ma leave it at that. I love that person too. But you other d**k-sucking minis, you other glazers, don't nobody love y'all."

This was all after Ross previously indicated that there will be diss tracks on his upcoming album, Set In Stone

“It’s always diss tracks. You know Rozay,” Ross told PageSix. “It wouldn’t be fun if it wasn’t. That competitive spirit, to me, is what made hip-hop what it was. It has to be competitive.

“Life is competitive,” he continued. “You know, people could try to make it as sweet as possible, and I get it, but this is a success as a competitive sport.”

Without naming Drake specifically, he said the project will get people talking.

“I’m sure the Rozay fans know, I love to shock people. I love to cause, not controversy, but things to discuss,” he said. “Conversations will most definitely be taking place about the music, and it’s beautiful.”

Ross then clarified that he doesn’t want to see Drake lose. You can see his statements below.
