A couple weeks back, Suge Knightreportedly gaveRay J control over the now-dormant Death Row Records. Now, Ray J is reportedly trying to get the Trump Administration to pardon Knight.
According to British outlet The Daily Mail, the singer and entrepreneur is talking with members of the administration to pardon the music executive, who is currently in prison serving out a 28-year sentence for manslaughter.
"He saw what Kim was able to do with her work in the criminal justice system with the Trump administration and he is determined to show he can do the same," the source said.
The singer has reportedly been invited by the administration to attend one of Trump's rallies, but scheduling conflicts interfered. The report goes on to note that people close to Ray J are against him meeting with Trump, arguing that it "could be catastrophic to his career." However, the artist believes his fans will continnue to support him despite possibly meeting up with Trump.
