Questlove to Appear on the Debut Episode of J-Zone's Red Bull Radio Show 'Give the Drummer Some'

Questlove has stories for days.

On Tuesday (February 5th) Red Bull Radio will air the debut episode of Give the Drummer Some, a new show hosted by drummer, musician, and former MC J-Zone.

The premise of the show is simple but ingenious: J-Zone will invite some of the best drummers in the world to come over and tell their stories. Hopefully, in the process, they will reveal some secrets about their craft. Tomorrow's episode will feature one of the greatest drummers of all time: Questlove of The Roots.

During the first episode, Quest talks about a number of topics: the early The Roots days; their “battle of the bands thing” with The Fugees; his childhood growing up backstage in Philadelphia; and much more.
