Questlove & Black Thought for 'CRWN' Interview to Discuss AMC's 'Hip Hop Songs that Shook America'

The two will join Elliott Wilson for a TIDAL x CRWN event in a conversation about AMC's "Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America."

TIDAL has announced that its next CRWN event will feature Questlove and Black Thought of The Roots.

The conversation, hosted by Elliott Wilson, will take place on Sunday, October 6th.

Back in July, Questlove released the official list of songs to be featured on AMC's Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America, a mini-series he and Black Thought are executive producing. The premiere episode, airing October 13, will feature Kanye West's "Jesus Walks."

Along with "Jesus Walks," Songs That Shook will feature Run-DMC's "Rock Box," Kendrick Lamar's "Alright," OutKast's "Elevators," Boogie Down Productions' "The Bridge is Over," and Queen Latifah & Monie Love's "Ladies First."
