A couple of years ago, Quentin Tarantino released the sequel to his classic Django Unchained movie in the form of a comic book. Called Django/Zorro, it was a crossover comic book featuring the two famous characters.
Collider is reporting that Quentin Tarantino has reached out to comedian Jerrod Carmichael to co-write the official Django/Zorro movie. According to the publication, it's not clear if Carmichael is writing it with Tarantino or if Carmichael is writing it with Tarantino just overseeing the script.
It's also not clear if Tarantino would be directing the movie. In the past, the director has indicated he wanted to retire after filming his tenth movies. Well, Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood is coming out in July and Tarantino is supposed to be directing a Star Trek movie in the future.
The comic book Django/Zorro takes place years after Django Unchained. It features Django on the road again, encountering Zorro, who is older in age at this point.
