Back in March, New Orleans singer PJ Morton released one of the better albums of 2017, Gumbo.
One of the standout tracks from that album was "Religion," a lush, soulful track which Morton has described as being a "takedown of evangelical hypocrisy."
The singer decided to drop a remix to the song, featuring Christian rapper Lecrae. Morton also dropped a remix for the video, which features a bunch of religious imagery throughout.
The release of this video concludes a big year for Morton. Last month, Gumbo was nominated for two Grammy awards, for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Song ( for the track "First Began").
