November Albums We're Excited to Hear

From Summer Walker to G Herbo and De La Soul, here are the month’s hottest releases.

Artists releasing albums in November 2025.

November is all about giving thanks, and music lovers have more than enough reasons to be grateful this month — there is no shortage of hotly-anticipated releases set to drop.

This month is all about chapters. So many artists are announcing these projects as the beginning or the ending of a phase in their lives and careers, and it makes for some exciting projects that showcase the creativity and ambitions of musicians always looking to push themselves.

You’ve got the return of De La Soul, who are set to release their first project in almost a decade — and their first since the passing of co-founder Dave, also known as Trugoy The Dove. Summer Walker drops her long-awaited Finally Over It, the final part of her Over It album trilogy, and we get the latest from G Herbo, who is closing the book on “Lil Herbo” with an album of the same name. And Wale is also promising the start of a bold new era on Everything Is A Lot

The new project from Lola Brooke — and FKA Twigs' Eusexua Afterglow — is arriving on the heels of Eusexua, which just dropped in January.

Here are some of the albums we are looking forward to this month.

DE LA SOUL - ‘CABIN IN THE SKY’

Release date TBD

The legends from Long Island return with their first album in almost a decade and the first since the death of co-founder Dave. Is it bittersweet? Yes. But fans are eager to hear what the plugs have been cookin.’

G HERBO - ‘LIL HERB’

Releases Nov. 7

The Chicago rapper says that he’s closing the book on “Lil Herb” which is why he used the moniker for his new album title. It makes sense: with Herbo finally an independent and free from baggage, he’s eager to embrace a fresh start.

REASON - ‘EVERYTHING IN MY SOUL_BLUE’

Releases Nov. 7

He’s been on a quiet roll and isn’t showing any signs of slowing. His high-profile exit from Top Dawg Entertainment hasn’t dulled his creativity or slowed his output.

BUN B AND CORY MO - ‘WAY MO TRILL’

Releases Nov. 7

It’s southern rap heaven when you can get Bun and Cory together, and there are some real heavyweights guesting both on the mic and behind the boards. Mo does most of the production but has folks like DJ Toomp and Ray Murray assisting.

YUNG BLEU - ‘THERAPY’

Releases Nov. 7

As evidenced by the title, Bleu is offering a project that he says is driven by opening up. His personal experiences, career highs and lows — his life is the muse for his creativity.

SUMMER WALKER - ‘FINALLY OVER IT’

Releases Nov. 14

The final installment in her Over It trilogy (after Over It (2019) and Still Over It (2021), Walker is splitting the album into two parts: “For Better” and “For Worse” and she’s got Mariah the Scientist, Latto, Playboi Carti and more along for the ride.

WALE - ‘EVERYTHING IS A LOT’

Releases Nov. 14

Promising an album driven by “vulnerability,” the D.C. representer is dropping his eighth studio album but it also represents a new beginning as it’s his first for the iconic Def Jam label.

FKA TWIGS - ‘EUSEXEUA AFTERGLOW’

Releases Nov. 14

The follow-up (sequel?) to Eusexua arrives just 9 months after that album was released, and it was originally intended to simply be a deluxe edition for that project. It evolved into its own thing, and we’re all better off for it.

DANNY BROWN - ‘STARDUST’

Releases Nov. 7

He’s tapped Quadeca, Jane Remover, Underscores, 8485, Frost Children and more for his sixth album, and the unbridled creative is free to indulge in some of his most off-kilter and free-flowing music to date.

LOLA BROOKE - ‘IIGHT, BET!’ (EP)

Releases Nov. 14

Straight outta Brooklyn and ready for her close-up. She’s managed to keep fans and critics guessing while still delivering the goods. If the first single is any indication, Brooke is closing the year with a heater in this new EP.
