Nicki Minaj has announced a release date for her forthcoming album. The rap superstar confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) that her new album is due to be released on March 27, 2026.

In the last week, she’s cryptically posted the date of “3.27.26” followed by an emoji of a CD, and while giving herself props for Pink Friday 2 days later, she spoke more on her forthcoming follow-up.

“Oh Barbz, I love you so… All I can say is—3.27.26 🎀 THISMUSICISJUSTjlsidtdkxkhcldutdljclhclhhckysurskyclyxlhxykxlhxkgxlhdkyhxkyckysiydiydlydykditdlydkyckyflucluxlufulfulf,” she wrote in an X post.

Pink Friday 2 dropped in 2023 and boasted big-name features like Drake, Lil Wayne, Future and Lil Uzi Vert across 22 tracks.

The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 228,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Singles from the album include "Super Freaky Girl," "Everybody" and "Red Ruby da Sleeze” were released as singles.

Last April, Touring Data reported that Nicki’s Pink Friday Tour became the most successful tour by a female rapper in history, with $34.9 million from 220,000 tickets sold in its first 17 shows.

“Made female rap history,” Nicki said on Instagram at the time. “I think as of today, with how many sold-out shows and how many shows that have grossed over $2 million,” she began. “I just want to thank everybody that’s been coming out; I never in my wildest dreams would’ve thought that this tour [would do so well].

“The other component that I didn’t factor in was you guys, your energy. I just will always be thankful. Period.”
