Young Thug Recorded a Remix to Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road"

Young Thug is the latest artist to join the "Old Town Road" phenomenon.

The Atlanta rapper posted a short preview of his remix to the viral track on Instagram Tuesday, tagging Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus in the caption. Thugger played a clip of a verse he added to the song.

In a recentTime interview, Lil Nas X praised Young Thug for pioneering the country-infused trap sound that "Old Town Road" has been credited with. When asked if he thinks Billboard removing "Old Town Road" from its Hot Country Songs chart had anything to do with race, Nas X responded, "I believe whenever you’re trying something new, it’s always going to get some kind of bad reception. For example, when rap started, or when rock and roll began. But with country trap, I in no way want to take credit for that. I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that."

Last week, country star, Billy Ray Cyrus released the first official remix to "Old Town Road" and the internet went wild.
