Young Guru

Shoutout to that man Young Guru, who just recently taught his first class at USC’s Thornton School of Music. The Engineer extrodinare served as an artist-in-residence at the SoCal university. Below, we get a highlight video featuring Guru as a guest lecturer in USC’s recording arts class, as well as some insight on the lecture from students and Thornton’s Vice Dean, Chris Sampson (though I feel like there were a few too many “oh, he speaks so well” type comments from the peanut gallery). Video by Marcos Velasquez & Jessica Rew. #itsdeeperthanrap. After watching big-man-on-campus, get a recap of him in a more familiar setting, holding down the OKP sponsored A3C Best Block Party Ever.
