Young Fathers Shame Artwork Square
Young Fathers have returned with a brand new fire for 2015. The Scottish-Nigerian-Liberian hip-hop act are set to embark on a sprawling North American tour in support of their monumental 2014 LP Dead, and are marking the good news with the release of a brand new track. "Shame" dropped late last week and is a bit of anthemic joy from a group who more often dabbles in dark menacing sonic territory. With a gritty, prominent bass and multiform vocal chants, the track is an eclectic burst of sunlight--an early sign of summer to last us through the waters of March and showers of April. Stream "Shame" from Young Fathers below, check out their full tour itinerary, and pick up Dead on iTunes if you haven't done so already.
