Thousands Pay Tribute to XXXTentacion at Memorial Service in Florida
Thousands gathered in XXXTentacion‘s home state of Florida for the late rapper’s public memorial service held Wednesday at BB&T Center.
The arena in Sunrise, Florida held an open-casket memorial for the artist, née Jahseh Onfroy, who was shot and killed in a suspected robbery last week.
Celebrities, including Lil Uzi Vert, PnB Rock, Ugly God, Denzel Curry, and Lil Yachty attended the service. Lil Uzi Vert recently announced plans to start a foundation in support of XXX’s family.
According to an NY Times report, Onfroy’s body was dressed “dressed in a blue denim jacket under soft lighting, laid in a dark polished coffin at center stage, surrounded by a spray of black flowers with metallic accents,” while his music sounded through the arena.
