Willis Earl Beal x Cat Power Live At The Knitting Factory

Willis Earl Beal and Cat Power cranked things up in The Church of Nobody as they teamed to bless the audience with an impromptu duet live at the Knitting Factory in NYC this past Monday. Beal kept things pretty loose, engaging in playful conversation with bandmates and cracking a few jokes to convince Power to join him in performance as she stood at the foot of the stage. She joined Beal after a moment and the pair sat onstage with their legs crossed to perform a cover of Bob Dylan's "Pledging My Time" and Power's "Colors and the Kids"; her sweet voice would prove to be a great punctuation for the smoky powerhouse of Beal's blues vocal.
