Janelle Monáe premiered her "emotion picture" Dirty Computer in an early screening at New York City's Lincoln Center Monday night, followed by a sit-down Q & A moderated by comedian Franchesca Ramsey. Among the star-studded audience was Lupita Nyong'o, flexing her support and dance skills, reminding us all how important it is to show up and show out for your friends.
During one scene in the film starring Tessa Thompson, Monáe stood up from her seat and started dancing to the Dirty Computer album's first single, “Make Me Feel." Nyong'o followed suit— and, yes, it was all of that #BlackGirlMagic and then some.
