Wasiu
It’s been a minute since we last checked in with Canadian lyricist Wasiu, but as you can see by that artwork, he’s still pushing the envelope. What you can hear by the song, is that his bars are still top notch. Wasiu collaborates with Atlanta rapper meltycanon (who co-produced the song with Dear Lola) for the bounce heavy track “No Jumper.”
While the O.J. SimpsonMade In America documentary is making headlines as of late (deservedly so, make sure you watch that), it was actually a brief but amazing story that Jeff Van Gundy told about O.J. during game 4 of the NBA finals that inspired Wasiu to pen this song.
The ‘shots’ people have been taking (and missing) at Wasiu and his crew as well as Gucci Mane’s recent release are the other factors that came together to make this new joint. Look for Wasiu's MTLIENS 2 project coming soon.
