Video Premiere: Fly Moon Royalty "Lemonade"
Okayplayer is proud to premiere the new video from Seattle duo Fly Moon Royalty AKA Adra Boo and Action Jackson. These crazy kids are only about ten months deep in to their career, but they display the oldness of their souls to powerful effect on "Lemonade," a spare, almost Phil Spector-ish groove driven by piano and handclaps and a juke joint feel to the visuals. In case you can't extrapolate from the title, the song is all about the bittersweet taste of life and the games we play trying to make the best of it. Speaking for myself, it makes a sort of ideal soundtrack for my week; a gorgeous dose of spring garnished with a possible eviction notice.
