Video: Mac Miller X MC Melodee X Cookin Soul: "Genius"

Speaking of Mac Miller, our new First Look favMC Melodee from the Netherlands linked up with the Pittsburgh native via the international b-boy network to connect on this Cookin' Soul track, a nice concoction of fast drums and a tinkly, Midnight Marauders-ish Rhodes loop. Running down credentials not usually flung at females in rap songs (she likes The Roots crew & Badu, plays Nintendo and doesn't put out on the first date) Miller makes a good case for his musical crush and Melodee does too, proving that 'old-school-MC Lyte' is not the only style she's got on the shelf. The video--spliced together out dueling tour-diary footage--is equally adorable. Get a room, you two.
