Unknown Mortal Orchestra Shares A Hypnotic Visual For The Infectious & Funky "Ur Life One Night"
For many, Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Multi-Love LP came and went without much ado at all. But for indie enthusiasts and champions of the lesser-known, their deceptively funky styles gave us plenty of replay value and perhaps the perfect score for your next acid-fueled, city-slicking sojourn. And while much of the Kiwi psych-ensemble's days are currently spent on the road, they've shared a rather enchanting new video for the album standout "Ur Life One Night," which is perhaps one of the single greatest nods to Prince's purple funk that ever was. The video plays out like a Bollywood dream, tapping Indian mythology for a kaleidoscopic piece of eye candy, whimsical and reverie-inducing all at once, standing as the only truly proper introduction to the group's heady r&b that you'll ever need.
