Tuxedo Treat Their Hi-Fi Funk To Lo-Fi Visuals In The Clip For "So Good"
Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One‘s Tuxedo escapades have taken them from b-boy auditions to the tennis court of love. Today, a new clip for “So Good” proves, no matter how glossy and glam your funk may be, a little lo-fi aesthetic is always proper. Featuring nothing more than the band a blue-screen, Tuxedo & Co. rock through their sophisticated boogie in VHS; an instant recall to the glory days of dookie tapes and “be kind, rewind” sentiments sans the inevitable late fees. If you’ve at all been sleeping on the brilliant, self-titled debut from the duo, we have to insist you treat yourself to either the digital copy on iTunes or a pressed wax copy via Stones Throw today. But the funk won’t stop there, as the Uno & Hawthorne will be making a few stateside pit-stops in Michigan and Alabama before crossing the pond to bring their high-class musical merriment to the UK.
