A few weeks ago, underground mainstay Trek Life released his latest LP, Hometown Foreigner, via Mello Music Group. It's well worth the purchase, so make sure you get it, but hop in the time machine right quick and get some of the classic material Trek has put out over the years with this mixtape, Hometown Heroes. Put together by the homie DJ Rhettmatic of the world famous Beat Junkies, the tape originally was just that, an actual mixtape, but MMG has now made it available as a free download in mp3 form (though you can still purchase the CD + tape versions). The tape has features from Oddisee, Bishop Lamont, yU, and Exile with production from Evidence, DJ Babu, Duke Westlake, and more (with cuts and mixing from DJ Rhettmatic). Get it, below.
