Toro Y Moi Delves Into Psych-Pop Bliss w/ "Empty Nesters" + Announces 'What For?' LP

Toro Y Moi (Chaz Bundick) is back to being good ole Toro Y Moi -- at least in name -- with the release of a new single "Empty Nesters" and the announcement of his forthcoming album What For? The track struts a huge synth-pop feel, creeping away from the electronic stylings of what we've come to know as the bouncy, nu-disco sound of the South Carolina-native's sonic pallet, but that breakdown certainly has the funk buried deep within. It comes fresh off the heels of his debut album as Les Sins, which landed in the form of the break and deep-house-heavy Michael LP. What For? arrives on April 7th via Carpark Records, but its' very first offering can heard right here. Listen to Toro Y Moi's latest joint "Empty Nesters" down below and keep it locked for the latest from Bundick & Co.
