Thelonious Martin Explores The "Corners Of Your Mind" w/ A Cerebral New Video
In late 2014, Chicago's Thelonious Martin let go of his full-length debut Wünderkid, featuring a massive list of features spread across 15-tracks of spacey goodness. Today, Martin has unveiled the very first visual from the record with a meditative clip for the painfully short cut from the record "Corners Of Your Mind," finding Martin levitating in the middle of a white-walled room with a gaggle of children dancing around him in full costume. Perhaps he's trying to visualize that fertile, child-like space in our brains where creative inhibitions are lost and your finally free act a fool, which is obviously the optimal place to come from when making anything. A perfect visual pairing for the cerebral swing of the track, which features a heavenly vocal treatment from newcomers Nylo & Ksra. If you've yet to do so, pick up a copy of Martin's Wünderkid LP on iTunes to get a heaping portion of future funk, atmospheric hip-hop and tender, left-field r&b featuring Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, Curren$y, Domo Genesis, Smoke DZA, Michael Christmas and plenty more underground favorites.
