The Wu-Tang Clan proved once more that they ain't nothing to f*ck with, taking over Jon Stewart's The Daily Show for a reunion of the ages. After a roundtable introduction (with Stewart at the group's center like a G-ed out Last Supper,) Stewart opened up with a bit of fun-poking claiming "Simon & Garfunkel couldn't keep two guys together, how did this happen?" The motley crew of Shaolin Island disciples...and Stewart, spoke on their upcoming A Better Tomorrow LP and what brought the group back together amidst internal turmoil between RZA and Raekwon.
Once The Chef, Ghostface and Method Man pledged their allegiance and spoke to the difficulty of keeping with it for so damn long, all the good men from the Island took to the stage to perform their lead-off single "Ron O'Neal", coming through with that gritty boom-bap AKA classic Wu. They also hit us with a live take of their '97 heater "Triumph" for all the heads. At the end of the performance, we get word that A Better Tomorrow will makes its way off the cutting room floor in November, putting the naysayers to rest. Still no word on whether Bobby Digital was able to lock in that multimillion dollar bid for their no longer secret album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, but you know exactly where to find when he does. Watch The Wu-Tang Clan shut down The Daily Show below.
