Last week, The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, caught the heavy hand of the internet's discontent for treating presidential hopeful, Donald Trump, as some sort of human despite all signs pointing towards him being everything but that. The Roots, however, pulled no punches, performing Erykah Badu's "20 Feet Tall" as Trump took the stage, taking a very subtle jab at the fear-mongering moneyman-turned-politician for his "make the Mexicans build it and pay for it" stance on immigration.
Last night, Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, hit The Tonight Show for a stop on the press circuit, walking out to the tune of Ghostface Killah's "Mighty Healthy"; a different tune for a different, slightly more appealing prospective president of the US of A. Clinton discussed her campaign, resting up after a much-hyped bout with pneumonia (jokes galore,) and, of course, threw a few jabs at her opponent. It was a more balanced effort from Fallon (compared to the softball he played with Trump last week,) but we'd still love to see Fallon get tough with the future leaders of the country, going against his cuddliest tendencies. Clinton and Trump are set to square off in the first presidential debate on September 26th, and it will certainly be a lively one.
