NYC: The Roots + Jim James Present: State Of The Union IN Prospect Park [6/18]

The Roots present State Of The Union - a night of collaborative performances featuring space pop purveyor Jim James for the Celebrate Brooklyn festivities scheduled to kick off at the Prospect Park Bandshell on June 18th. Jim James takes the stage in Brooklyn following the release of his Regions of Light and Sound of God LP, a recent SXSW showcase at Willie Nelson's ranch, a duet with Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips and a groundbreaking performance with The Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. In something of a reprise of their Fallon performance, Jim James and The Roots will again be performing with a full band. The Celebrate Brooklyn performance - originally scheduled for June 19th - has been moved from Wednesday to Tuesday. All tickets purchased during pre-sale for the event will be honored on the new date. Get in where you fit in. You do not want to miss this; it will be epic.
