The Revolution Announce Reunion Shows At First Avenue w/ Special Guests Andre Cymone & Dez Dickerson

Prince‘s band The Revolution are headed on tour this spring. The group will consist of guitarist Wendy Melvoin, keyboardists Lisa Coleman and Matt Fink, bassist Brownmark (Mark Brown) and drummer Bobby Z (Robert Rivkin). The iconic group made the announcement via Twitter. This past fall Chaka KhanStevie WonderBilal, and many others performed at a Prince tribute concert in Minneapolis. This April another Prince tribute concert will be taking place. The festivities will happen at Prince’s Paisley Park and is titled “Celebration.” The lineup will include Morris Day & The Time, The New Power GenerationLiv Warfield, Shelby J. and members of 3rdEyeGirl, and The Revolution. “Celebration” will take place April 20th-23rd and will coincide with the one year anniversary of Prince’s passing.
