Tay-K is being sued for $1 million
Imprisoned rapper Tay-K, real name Taymor Travon McIntyre, is being sued for $1 million in damages. The lawsuit is coming from Lucia “Lucy” Saldavir, the mother of Mark Anthony Saldavir who was shot and killed outside of a San Antonio Chick-fil-A in April 2017.
In the eight-page lawsuit, filed to the 131st Judicial District Court last Thursday, and an obtained by ABC 12 KSAT News, Lucia claims that Tay-K shot and killed Saldavir after attempting to rob him of his camera equipment. Saldavir was only 23 when he was killed.
In the lawsuit, Lucia writes:
[Tay-K] intentionally and knowingly and recklessly committed criminal homicide or murder by shooting and killing [Mark Anthony Saldavir after he] resisted the attempts against him by [Tay-K] to rob him of his camera equipment.
Tay-k is currently in prison awaiting trial for the Saldavir shooting. “The Race”-rapper is also awaiting trial for the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker, who was killed in a home invasion on July 27, 2016.
