Tame Impala's coming home, folks. After months on the road in the states and abroad, having one the year's most critically-adored records under their belt, the Australian psych-funk clique is returning to their native continent for a string of five shows that will no doubt prove to be some of their most elaborate spectacles yet. Aussie Impala-ites will get to hear the fuzzy lo-fi funk exclusively in amphitheaters, hitting the five major cities of the land for the crew's victory lap. If you've been looking to get a taste of what those moments might feel like, we'd suggest jumping back to their set from Austin Psych Fest a few months back, where they spun a devilishly great live and direct rendition of "Eventually" for Lone Star State residents. And stateside fans shouldn't fret, as five US shows are slated for October, once they return from their cross-pond shenanigans, which are currently blazing stages all over Europe. Grab your copy Tame Impala's Currents on iTunes and brace yourself for the feels, good people.
