Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder present the official video for the Indie 500 LP standout "Bangers" (Remix) from MK Asante, Uzi and Nottz. The video shot by Above Ground Studios follows the 2015 release of both the acclaimed 13-track collaborative project from Kweli and 9th and Asante's BUCK: The Original Book Soundtrack - the musical companion to his award-winning memoir of the same name. Opening with some very timely commentary from 9th about the power of music for oppressed peoples, the video reinforces the might of the drum and the written word with shots of small children brandishing copies of the book - Asante's weapon of choice - cut to fit the shape of a gun. The clip is punctuated by sharp imagery, a heartfelt flurry of bars from Uzi and a rich bassline that conjures the Low Budget Crew classics of Kev Brown.
