Surviving Members Of NWA To Reunite & Perform w/ Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q + Snoop Dogg
NWAfans will soon be getting more than just a biopic treatment of the original gangstas' legacy and impact on the culture of hip-hop. As it turns out, the surviving members of the group, sans the incomparable Dr. Dre, will be reuniting for their first performance in 26 years as a unit on June 27th. And though The Doctor's involvement seems like some sort of a "wish upon a star" scenario, Ice Cube seems confident that Dre will make some sort of appearance. The performance will be part of this year's BET Experience, taking place at the Staples Center in LA and will feature all of the west coast's finest under one roof. That's Ice Cube, DJ Yella, MC Ren, and helping hands from Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Snoop Dogg, with the possibility of others added to the evening's roster in the weeks to come.
