Snoop Dogg turns out to deliver some of his laid-back verbal on a reworked rendition of Stax Records legend William Bell's iconic soul cut "I Forgot To Be Your Lover," off the soundtrack to the upcoming Soulsville documentary Take Me To The River. Uncle Snoop shows love for Bell and the whole Stax crew in a mid-song breakdown that opens the groove up for the G-ed out funkateeer to move. Take Me To The River is in theaters today and features performances from a laundry list of greats like Bobby Rush, Mavis Staples, Otis Clay and The North Mississippi All-Stars.
