Snoop Dogg Blesses The Air, Teases Pharrell-Produced "Moon Rocks"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Snoop Dogg getting lifted isn't exactly news to most of us, but when he decided to do so and hit us with some unreleased Pharrell-produced ism, we're far from mad. In a recent air-blessing session amongst the LBC champ's disciples, we find The Doggfather twisting one of the countless Ls he puts up daily, with a glistening boogie-bronzed groove playing in the back. A morphed Skateboard P hook begins to chime in as Snoop mouths the part to a track we can only call "Moon Rocks" on account of the fact that it's precisely what he's puffing on.

Pharrell and Snoop haven't landed on a track together since 2009's Malice n' Wonderland, but these freaky, funk frequencies are more in line with the Snoop's revival period, which was really between 2002 and 2004 when the tandem was providing some of the illest stoner scores this side of The Chronic (see "From Tha Chuuuch To Da Palace" and "Let's Get Blown" for reference.) The track's yet to see the light of day, but you can be sure of where to find it when it does. Get your own thing in the air and watch a hazy teaser for Snoop's "Moon Rocks" below.
