Always one to keep things subversive and dark, UK street and conceptual artist Banksy opened Dismaland Thursday, a sprawling site of macabre rides and strange costumes billed as a 'bemusement park.' With 18 different attractions that include grim reapers on bumper cars and a gothic circus sculpture park, Dismaland is sure to be a sobering experience--which is why, we're assuming, they're bringing in some lively musicians.

Run The Jewels, Massive Attack, DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, Breakbeat Lou, Savages, Pussy Riot and more have all been announced as live musical guests at Banksy's Dismaland, playing Friday night sets during each of the five weeks the park/art show will be open to the public.

In a statement marking the park's opening, Banksy himself quipped "I loved the Tropicana as a kid, so getting to throw these doors open again is a real honour. I hope everyone from Weston will take the opportunity to once more stand in a puddle of murky water eating cold chips to the sound of crying children."

The park will be open daily until September 27th. You can see pictures and read more about the exhibition over at the The Mirror.
