Record Store Day is dangerous enough as it is, with its long lines and cramped stores full of ravenous music heads who'll stop at almost nothing to get a coveted piece of music history. But now the mercury's running even higher, thanks to Run The Jewels's brand new track, a jagged ever-so-slightly restrained number that goes by the name of "Bust No Moves." It's the opening track on Killer Mike and El-P's special 12" #RSD15 release, and features additional vocals from Little Rock, Arkansas MC SL Jones over its ray gun synthesizer beat. And while today is meant to be a celebration of analog ownership of music, a digital version of "Bust No Moves" exists for all of us too broke or too desk-ridden to make it to a local sound shop.
Today's special Run The Jewels 12" also includes RTJ2 cut "Pew Pew" and the post-album single "Blockbuster Night Pt. 2." But "Bust No Moves" is the main attraction here, and fans of the group will relish in its menacing low-burn beat. Listen to it below and go cop a physical copy if you're able.
