Usher, DMX, Future, Anderson .Paak & More Announced For 2016 Roots Picnic

The time has finally arrived! For the curtains to come off of this year's Roots Picnic line-up. And if we may say so, this could very well be one of the finest, most star-studded bills we've ever had the pleasure of present. Headlining this year's bash at the Festival Pier, we have old-soul specialist Leon Bridges, Mt. Vernon's own, DMX (!) and the silk-smooth r&b styles of Usher, backed by the mighty Roots crew, of course. But that's just the nightshift.

Before you jump into the night-owl mode, you can catch "The Way" of Kehlani, some souletric sounds from the incomparable Kaytranada, as well as DJ sets from Swizz BeatzRich Medina and Metro Boominalong with a very special edition of NYC's famed Everyday People party, featuring DJ Moma. Elsewhere you'll find some dazzling ear and eye candy from the OKP-favorites like Dev Hynes Blood Orangenot to mention man of the year, Anderson .Paak and his Free Nationals.

So no matter which direction your musical tastes might take you, Roots Picnic 2016 has you covered for a full day in the sun with some of the best in the game. But don't take it from us, peep the official line-up announcement from the Broad City girls, Abbi and Ilana, below for some tips on how best to navigate through this year's musical melee. Roots Picnic will be taking over Festival Pier on June 4th with tickets going on-sale this Friday, February 5th at 12:00PM. Hit the link for ticketing and festival info. We'll see y'all out there.
