Raekwon "Marble Cake"
As a young Wu stan, there was nothing I wanted more than a pair of Marble Cake Wallabees (like the pair Ghost is talkin' bout right here on Rae's "Glaciers of Ice"), though I had to settle for the all brown jawns in the end, the marble cakes will always remain the gold standard for Wu enthusiasts. Raekwon brings that classic pair of casual footwear back to the forefront with this new freestyle "Marble Cake," that has the Wu representative going in over Drake's Nothing Was The Same track, "Pound Cake." I can't say I'm among the Wu fans "craving" for a Wu x Drake collaboration (dude already blew it naming a love song after the almighty W), so I'm good with this one right here. Rae's F.I.L.A. album will be out in January.
