Video Premiere: Quiet Dawn x Oddisee - "New Dawn" (dir. Ce Con De Chat)

French producer Quiet Dawn aka Will Galland teams with Oddisee in the official video for "New Dawn" - the first single from his forthcoming The First Day LP - directed by GM for Ce Con De Chat. The black & white clip shot in France follows Quiet Dawn's recent signing to First Word Records. The video is anchored by the easy groove and effervescent percussion of Quiet Dawn's production and contains pieces of the Living in Tengrela documentary from Victorien V. The hazy photography only enhances the dream-like state encouraged by the music, which channels the heartbeat of divination and the chill of daybreak. Oddisee counters QD's production with an introspective delivery that fills the negative spaces in the track and champions an African renaissance.
