Pharrell lets his ani-freak flag fly in the vibrant animated visual for his latest single "It Girl," the closing opus of his sophomore solo piece GIRL. If you've even attempted to keep up with the perennial hit-maker's career (in and out of music) it should be no surprise that the man who introduced Gwen Stefani to the Harajuku Girls (and The Neptunes) and taught the whole world to "Hollerback" would come through with the most outlandishly colorful (borderline hallucination-inducing) we've seen this side of a FlyLo treatment. It's a lot to take in, but by the time that b-boy worthy break busts in to close out, you're already along for the ride.
Speaking of Harujuku, P is also apparently putting the final touches Stefani's forthcoming solo record, which is sure to realign the titan's of the mid-2000 swing with bubblegum bounce of the new funk scheme. If you've yet to do so, go ahead and cop GIRL via iTunes today for a taste of the singles-only project that rocked the world earlier this year alongside that cartoonishly large bucket hat. Watch the anime-fortified visual for "It Girl" below.
